The Isagenix Compensation Plan and the Benefits of Network Marketing
I was watching the television show Shark Tank the other night and was intrigued by a comment made by one of the "contestants". This is a show where average citizens pitch their entrepreneurial ideas to a panel of millionaires and billionaires in an attempt to garner financial and technical support. The specific idea being presented at that time had to do with health and physical fitness, which was ironic considering the presenter's deficiencies in both areas. At the end of the exchange between the budding businessman and the "Sharks" one of them challenged the presenter by saying they would support his idea if he could lose 30 lbs. Without blinking the man agreed to the proposal. During the typical post-interview the man asserted he would be successful with his challenge and then quoted his father by saying "you can either trade your hours for dollars or your ideas for millions!" This is essentially the thought behind network marketing.
The Average citizens of the world go to work everyday and agree to work a specific number of hours in exchange for a specific, pre-determined wage. There is an inherent problem with this concept, however. If your desire is to make more money then there are only two options open to you. First, you can obtain a second job which will result in less free-time available to you, or you can talk to your current employer about working additional hours...which will result in less free time available to you. Second, you can start to make some sacrifices to address the fact you don't have enough money to pay for everything you want.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if you could trade your money for more time, instead of trading your time for money. This is what network marketing or MLM offers you. Once you have adequately established yourself with a network marketing venture you can go places you have always wanted to go, and do things you have always wanted to do while continuing to make money. There have been instances where we have gone on vacation and had some of our best paydays at the end of the week. This is because even if you are not working, everyone else in your "line" is continuing to work for you.

Our Depleted Soil and the subsequent need for Nutritional Supplements
My family (my husband and two pre-teen children) are somewhat of videophiles. We own a fairly substantial library of DVD's. We are, however, selective in the DVD's we are willing to purchase. Several of the movies in our collection are documentaries. Two of these movies have caused a paradigm shift in the way me and my family look at food and specifically nutrition. The first documentary is called Super Size Me. This is a film by documentary film maker Morgan Spurlock who subjects himself to a McDonald's Restaurant only diet for 30 straight days. Mr. Spurlock's intent is to determine if their would be any significant negative health repercussions related to such an experiment. Mr. Spurlock almost dies as a result of his venture. Ultimately, the moral of the story is that the additives, preservatives, toxins and chemicals we introduce into our bodies through the American fast foods we eat are slowly killing us.
The second movie is called Food Matters and was distributed originally in 2008. Essentially this documentary argues that the food that we are eating today is nutritionally deficient when compared with the food of 20, 30, and 40 years ago. The film asserts that we have depleted our American soil of essential vitamins and minerals and, as a result, diminished the value of the food we eat. Both of these videos can be viewed in part through www.youtube.com. The FoodMatters documentary can be purchased at www.foodmatters.tv. I recommend both movies to those of you concernced about our current state of nutrition.
Ultimately, these movies both validated for me the need to cleanse away the toxins we are introducing into our bodies on a daily basis while supplementing the foods we eat with good vitamins and nutrients through quality supplements.
